FARMHOUSE EXTENSION

sussex

The original farmhouse was built in the mid 1800’s. It then received a Victorian extension in the very early 1900’s. The old cowshed still stood in the garden! This is a fantastic property on the outskirts of a charming Sussex village, accessed via a bumpy road.

We removed the odd cumulative developments from the rear of the property and added a contemporary extension to connect the old outbuilding to the main house. We created a new entrance door and improved the arrival journey.

We also renovated the existing house throughout including insulating below old floors and reviving old boards.

The old cowshed was converted into a cosy den.

Planning permission was achieved by Rodger Fincham. Detailing and finishes were a team effort between client, Rodger and us.
